Find something you enjoy doing:
We spend a lot of our time doing things that we don’t enjoy. Going to work, housework, washing the car and paying bills wouldn’t be the top of someone’s list of favorite things to do. Don’t make your fitness journey be a chore but rather something you look forward to doing. Most people would automatically associate fitness with going to the gym, being able to run, or something along these lines. However, if you don’t enjoy these the likelihood of you sticking with them is very slim. You are looking to do something that gets you excited as this will set you up for long term success. There are a wide variety of activities you can partake in that will help you achieve your goals. Activities such as walking, gardening, going for a spin on your bike, swimming, hiking, yoga, pilates, golfing and loads more.
If you are a member of a gym and maybe lacking motivation or not enjoying training speak to an instructor about doing up a new program. Get them to introduce some new exercises or maybe a different format of training. Maybe ask about fitness classes. There are a wide variety of classes with something to suit everyone. You have classes such as spinning, aqua, HIIT, Pilates, boot camps, yoga, dance to name but just a few. So, you are sure to find something you enjoy.
