LES MILLS GROUP FITNESS CLASSES:

We are delighted to be able to provide our members with LES MILLS group fitness classes. We are the only licensed LES MILLS facility in the North East so you won’t be able to get these classes anywhere else.

We have taken 3 of their programs BODYPUMP, BODYCOMBAT and GRIT SERIES.

BODYPUMP:

Get ‘Lean and Strong’ with 800 – 1,000 reps per class.

BODYPUMP™ is a barbell workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast.

Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout. It will burn up to 540 calories*. Instructors will coach you through the scientifically proven moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own! You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more.

BODYCOMBAT:

Step into a BODYCOMBAT workout and you’ll punch and kick your way to fitness, burning up to 740 calories** along the way. This high-energy martial-arts inspired workout is totally non-contact and there are no complex moves to master. A LES MILLS instructor will challenge you to up the intensity and motivate you to make the most of every round. You’ll release stress, have a blast and feel like a champ.
BODYCOMBAT is available as either a 55, 45 or 30-minute workout.

LES MILLS GRIT:

LES MILLS GRIT is 30-minutes of high-intensity interval training (HIIT). It has been developed by experts to deliver transformative results. It features short, intense bursts of effort followed by periods of recovery. These scientifically structured intervals therefore allow you push your body into your max effort training zone and that’s where the results happen.

So get ready to transcend your speed, strength and height and therefore take your physical ability to another level. The LES MILLS GRIT SERIES consists of 3 different sections.  These are GRIT STRENGTH, GRIT CARDIO and also GRIT ATHLETIC
