We are delighted to announce that we will reopen on Tuesday 1st December. We can appreciate that you have missed coming to the gym and we look forward to welcoming you back. We would like to thank you for your support down throughout the years and look forward to your continued support in the future. We implemented a number of procedures after the first lockdown to ensure the health and safety of all our members and staff. All these measures will stay in place. Your health and safety are of paramount importance to us and we want to make sure that you feel comfortable and safe when you come to train. Below you can read how we are going to reopen and what policies we have in place.
On reopening we are still limited to the amount of people allowed in the facility at any one time. Therefore, we will be continuing our booking system with set time slots throughout the day. You will need to download our MyWellness App. to book your time slot if you haven’t already done so. These time slots are 1 hour and 15 minutes long. You can only book 1 time slot per day and can book up to 5 days in advance. We would like to remind people of the ‘3 Strike Rule’. If you fail to show for a booked session 3 times in 30 days you will be blocked from booking via the app. for 7 days. There will be a 15-minute gap between time slots to allow for cleaning and changeover of cardio equipment. Midway through the day we will have a 45 minute slot for cleaning. You will not be allowed to enter Felda without a booking and your swipe card. Booking will be available from this Thursday 26th for Tuesday 1st.
In relation to the changing rooms and shower facilities – these are still closed to gym users. We are asking everyone that is using the gym to arrive in their training gear with a towel and water. When you are finished your work out you should leave the facility.
Again, due to number restrictions this will continue to be done through a booking system. Time slots are set throughout the day and are 1 hour and 15 minutes long – you can only book 1 time slot per day. You will be assigned a locker and shower number to use.
We, unfortunately, are still not allowed to restart our fitness classes. We hope that Government restrictions on these will be lifted shortly and we can get our timetable back up and running. We know that a lot of you love doing the fitness classes but this is totally out of our control.
Other Measures Put In Place For Your Safety:
Covid-19 Compliance Training:
All our staff have been fully trained in Covid-19 compliance to ensure you have a safe environment when you return. They will monitor to make sure social distancing is being adhered to and that everyone is following hygiene procedures.
Entering and Exiting:
There will be a one-way system for entering and exiting the facilities as well as through the gym floor to get to different areas. Don’t come early for your session as you won’t gain access and we want to stop people congregating around reception.
On entering you must use the sanitising station just inside the door. There will be more sanitising stations situated throughout the gym for you to use.
At reception, before swiping in there is a temperature check station which you must use every time before entering. This is both contactless and touchless. The device will talk you through the procedure. If your temperature is at the right levels, you are free to proceed into the gym. However, if your temperature is too high you will be refused entry. This is to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
We have allowed a 15 min slot in between each session for cleaning and to change over the cardio equipment. Our staff will also be cleaning the equipment, surfaces, and touch points throughout the day. We also have a disinfectant fogging machine which will be used regularly throughout the day. Each member will be given a micro fibre cloth on entry – this is to be used to clean equipment. We ask all members to clean any equipment they use ‘Before and After’ use with the disinfectant and cloth provided. Reminder that midway through the day we will have a 45-minute slot for cleaning.
During the last lockdown we reorganised our weights equipment to ensure safe social distancing. We will continue to have every second piece of cardio equipment turned off and will rotate after every session.
We are honouring the time we have been closed to memberships. This will be done automatically. All memberships will be re-activated from the 1st unless on suspension.
